I’m BEYOND excited to share with you Audrina and Akshay’s Pasea Hotel wedding photos!! The whole day was filled with so much love and laughter. I cannot wait for you to dive in and see it all.
I include an engagement session for all of my wedding couples and you can see theirs here! It was so much fun running around Malibu and getting to know them as a couple.
Just based off of their vibe and choices for their engagement session, I knew their wedding was going to be incredible. From Audrina’s satin gown to Akshay’s colorful safa to the tropical florals, it all worked together so seamlessly. And made my color-obsessed heart go pitter-patter! I love how Indian weddings lean into so much color!
In particular I loved seeing how they created their day with a great balance of respecting their cultural traditions, while also ensuring special moments for just the two of them. Their day started out by getting ready on separate floors of the Pasea Hotel. In a break from tradition, they decided to do a first look for some private time of just the two of them. The look on Akshay’s face when he first saw Audrina?? Precious! Following private time together and portraits, Akshay headed to his traditional Baraat where he was was welcomed in to the wedding on a horse with a big party! There was music, dancing, and throwing flower petals. Honestly what more can you ask for?
The Baraat led into a beautiful Hindu ceremony full of symbols and rich cultural traditions. The ceremony heavily involved both of their families and paying respect to their elders. I loved seeing all of the involvement during the ceremony!
Right after the ceremony we walked down to Huntington Beach to catch the last rays of sunlight and take their romantic portraits.
