Today we’re going to talk about the wedding venue Rancho de las Palmas in Moorpark, California and why it makes me swoon as a wedding photographer!! One thing that shocks couples about wedding planning is the price of florals. What I love about Rancho de las Palmas is that the venue is full of flowers and greenery at every turn.

They decided to skip a first look and save that moment for the aisle. However, If you’re looking for inspiration for a first look, check out this post!
Instead of a first look between the bride and groom, we did a first look with the bride and her dad! It was such a special moment that they were able to share before the ceremony. Plus, there was no stress in orchestrating that first look moment because the Rancho de las Palmas is so large. The groom was tucked away on the other side of the venue. A win-win!
And now for my favorite part of the day – bride and groom portraits!!
We popped out to the field to catch the final rays of the sunset and I think it was well worth it!
