Carisa and Phil brought the FUN to all of their Madera Kitchen wedding photos in Los Angeles!
Boy, do these two know how to throw a party! Their downtown LA wedding was full of so much joy – not just from the couple, but from all of their guests. The excitement to celebrate these two was just palpable.
Carisa and Phil got ready separately and saved their first look for the aisle. Madera Kitchen Los Angeles made such a fabulous backdrop for their nighttime wedding. The space felt intimate, yet they had more than 100 guests!
As a wedding photographer, I always take note of light. So here’s what I think about these Madera Kitchen wedding photos.
Overall, I think it’s an awesome venue for a nighttime wedding like Carisa and Phil’s! The space looks great with flash and I love the high-energy look that flash photos give. It totally matches Carisa and Phil’s vibe, in my opinion.

Cheers to these vendors that made the day possible:
Venue: Madera Kitchen
Hair: Her Inner Beauty
MUA: Brit Brow

When I walked through the timeline with Carisa and Phil, I was nervous that they wouldn’t have any couples portraits in natural light. It’s true, I’ll be honest! We were able to go out to the streets downtown Los Angeles and use the city as the backdrop for their wedding portraits. How fun is that?!
